JAN KACZMAREK
MANAGING PARTNER
Jan has worked as an R&D consultant and facilitator under international collaborative research projects, including ALIPRO, 3S and HOLA. He has been successfully conducting cooperation endeavours between enterprises, researchers as well as NGO and public authorities and built interest groups within strategic domains of ICT. Beyond his consulting assignements within Disruptive Concepts, Jan is a researcher and a research project manager at the Warsaw University of Technology focusing on the subjects of behavioural decision models, cognitive psychology, AI as well as mobile technologies and applications. He has background in international management, economics and politics (MA, Warsaw School of Economics and BA, Fontys University, Eindhoven). He is Member of the Board at MOST Foundation. Recently he has been appointed Associate Editor for the IC@ST magazine published by ICST.
JAKUB LEBUDA, PHD
MANAGING PARTNER
Jakub has been involved in various innovation/R&D projects as well as educational and consulting endeavours for the public and private sectors and a number of NGOs, both domestically and in various international set-ups. He currently consults to fast growing media, software and telecommunication companies. Jakub fosters idea sharing processes and enables creative sparring within client companies thus helps them build a solid, rational base for future endeavours: from sketchy intuitions to fully-fledged project concepts. Jakub is a graduate of University of Lodz and Université de Rouen in economics and international commerce and a PhD (2009) in information science at the University of Warsaw, (Institute of Information Science and Book Studies). Besides working for Disruptive Concepts, Jakub is a project manager for BRAMA Innovation Camp, an academic start-up programme of the Warsaw University of Technology.
CONSULTANTS
JOANNA GUZICKA
Joanna graduated from Technical University of Denmark, Center for Microbial Biotechnology and Technical University of Lodz, Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences. Joanna has gained experience in bio-tech labs in Denmark and Spain. Her professional interest involve research and development in the area of Life Science. At DC she is reponsible for Learn in a Minute animated clips, expert positioning. Joanna speaks fluent English, good German and Spanish and has a basic knowledge of Danish.
MARTA SWIETLICKA
Marta is a final year student at Warsaw School of Economics, faculty of International Relations. She studied at Universidad del Pacifico in Lima, Peru, during her student exchange programme. Her master thesis concerns economic cooperation between European Union and Latin America. She has a wide international experience, with a strong stress on diplomacy and international cooperation. At DC Marta is responsible for communications (Learn in a minute) and international, collaborative research projects. She speaks fluent English, French and Spanish and has a basic knowledge of Portuguese.
IGA GRZEGRZOLKA
Iga is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Social Sciences and Humanities, faculty of Social Psychology. She participated in the Research Methods in Psychology postgraduate programme at the University of Kent, UK. Iga was involved in scientific research projects in social and cognitive psychology. Her professional interests include research & development and training. She speaks fluent English and Modern Greek. She holds a BA degree in Greek Philology from the University of Warsaw. Iga dedicates here time also to ranslating and teaching Greek.
LUKASZ JABLONSKI
Lukasz is a graduate of a prestigious CEMS Master's in International Management (CEMS MIM) Programme and a holder of a M.Sc. Diploma in Finance and Banking from the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH). As part of the CEMS MIM curriculum he studied at the Aalto University - Helsinki School of Economics and completed a number of projects in the field of strategic consulting and corporate finance. He gained professional experience in Finland, working as an analyst at the Global Intelligence Alliance, a leader in strategic market intelligence and advisory. At DC Lukasz is responsible for market analysis, project evaluation and developing growth strategies for innovative ventures. He speaks English and German and has a basic knowledge of Russian.
WOJCIECH PACZKA
Wojciech holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting from Warsaw School of Economics. In Disruptive Concepts Wojciech is responsible for market research and works on enhancing sales prospects of DC’s clients. He speaks English and German and has a basic knowledge of Spanish.
DOMINIKA ROSTOCKA
Dominika has extensive experience in logistics and sales. Prior to joining Disruptive Concepts she worked over 6 years for BSH, a producer of home appliances. She has a background in spatial economy, regional development and spatial econometrics and indepth knowledge of SAP. She is interested in business process modeling and application of ERP systems for efficient supply chain management. She speaks English and German.
AGNIESZKA KURCZEWSKA, PHD
Agnieszka holds a PhD in economics. She is an assistant professor at the Institute of Finances, Banking and Insurance, University of Lodz, particularly interested in entrepreneurship development, financial determinants of small and medium sized enterprises' growth, capital structure of SMEs. At present, she conducts research on entrepreneurial intentions. Agnieszka is an author of almost 30 scientific publications. At present she is responsible for Business Council of Faculty of Economics and Sociology at the University of Lodz. She speaks English and French fluently.

MAREK SREDNIAWA, PHD
Marek is a renowned ICT expert within an extensive portfolio of consulting endeavors for Telekomunikacja Polska, Polkomtel, PTC Era, Netia, Dialog, Nokia Siemens Networks, Alcatel, Clearwire, West LB Bank, Dot Systems, DCS, IIR, IDG, CPI, Enterprise Ireland, CELTIC Programme Office, KPMG, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Roland Berger, Spencer Stuart Szostek&Partners, PARP and Ministry of Finance. He is also an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Telecommunications of the Warsaw University of Technology and a lecturer and member of the Council of the Business School of the Warsaw University of Technology with responsibility for Management Information Systems module in the MBA curriculum. His professional interests cover: technical, business and legal aspects of electronic communication networks and services, convergence of media, networks and services, future Internet. His hobbies include: art with a special focus on Stanislas Ignacy Witkiewicz, photography and tennis.
DOMINIK RYZKO, PHD
Dominik’s research interests include Multi-Agent Systems, Logical Programming and Emergent Phenomena. He has published papers at major international conferences on Artificial Intelligence and Information Systems. Before joining Disruptive Concepts he has been working for 10 years in IT consulting (Oracle, Accenture), leading and supervising international, incl. overseas, development projects. He specialized in implementation of large scale ERP systems, system integration, data migration and management. During his IT consultancy carrier he worked with top industry standards and methodologies for IT project management and quality control. He is also an assistant professor at the Institute of Computer Science of the Warsaw University of Technology and is responsible for leading the EU research projects.
TOMASZ KULISIEWICZ
Tomasz Kulisiewicz is a consultant and analyst of IT and electronic communications market and a lecturer. He is also a a member of research team of MOST Foundation as well as: a member of Management Board of Mazovian Branch of Polish Information Processing Society; a member of Supervisory Council of Arbitration Court for Disputes on Domain Names at Polish Chamber of IT and Telecommunications; a member of Steering Committee of Polish Platform on Mobile Communications and Wireless Technology; co-founder and lead analyst of Polish SME IT Association and co-founder of Citizen’s Internet and Forum of Modern Public Administration civic initiatives. He graduated from Budapest University of Technology / Hungary (1974, master's degree in Computer Sciences).
RICHARD BERKELEY
Richard is an Anglo-Pole who has been living in Warsaw for eight years. He trained as a musician at London University and founded orchestras in Britain, Italy and Poland. He has worked as a producer, presenter and writer for BBC Television, RAI TV and radio and TVP (Pegaz) and as an advertising copy-writer for many commercials. He has had an extensive film and television career working with directors such as Liliana Cavani, Lina Wertmuller and Ken Russell. Now he divides his time between being Chairman of Fundacja Nowa Orkiestra Kameralna, using music as a means of developing a civil society and as a consultant/trainer at top executive level to leading companies in Poland. He advertised Warsaw as a city of culture on BBC World TV.
PROF. KAZIMIERZ KRZYSZTOFEK
Prof. Krzysztofek is a professor of sociology at Warsaw School of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vice President of Pro Cultura Foundation and Computerworld Magazine columnist. The field of his expertise and scientific investigation covers: cultural adaptation to change in Eastern and Central Europe; the impact of information technology on arts; the implications of small markets for cultural industries and culture production, distribution, and consumption; community cultures and civil society, the cultural aspects of European integration. Since 1994 (until 2000) he worked at the Institute of Culture as Director for Research. He has been Professor of Sociology at the University of Bialystok since 1997 and a member of the Polish Academy of Science Committee for Forecasting "Poland 2000Plus" since 1995. He is a member of the International Studies Association, as well as a member and former board member of the European network of research institutes on culture and culture documentation centres (CIRCLE). In 1987/88 he was senior Fulbright scholar in the MIT Center for International Studies (Program on International Communication) and in 1996, a visiting lecturer at the Pennsylvania State University. He has published widely and received numerous awards and honours.
SEBASTIANO LOMBARDO
Sebastiano is an Italian who lives in Norway and has a broad international experience. He graduated from the Norwegian School of Management in Oslo where he focused on international and cross cultural management, Public Relations and Project Management. He holds a Master of Science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. He was Innovation Program Manager at Norconsult and Senior Adviser at SINTEF. Earlier he worked at Pera Innovation Ltd (UK) as Business Development Manager, at Gjensidige Insurance as a Senior Market Developer and at STATOIL as a business developer. He is a guest lecturer at the University of Torino, University of Palermo, BI in Oslo and the High School of Narvik. He is also a certified instructor of Edward de Bono’s Six Thinking Hats, which is a powerful creativity tool for business leaders and entrepreneurs. Sebastiano is fluent in Norwegian, English, French, Spanish and Italian. He is passionate about business development and internationalisation.
